Meet in the rear carpark of the Great Eastern Hotel on Old Mt Barker rd Littlehampton at 9.15 for 9.30 departure for a pleasant drive through the hills and around Lake Alexandrina, checking out places like, Milang, and Point Sturt, then heading back towards Strathalbyn for lunch at an Oasis.

Googs Track and Gawler Ranges
We will traverse the googs track from North to South and on the way we visit Mambray Creek, Mt Ives Station, Lake Gairdner, the Gawler Ranges and Kingoonya. Some big sandhills will be encountered on Googs track so some sandhill driving experience would be an advantage. This will be a camping only trip, no caravans or camper trailers. You will need to be self sufficient for food and water and fuel for at least 5 days. ...
