Puppy Springs Social Weekend
This weekend is designed to familiarise you with your 4WD.
Sand driving - Tyre pressures - Hill driving (up and downhill).
Dealing with difficulties in hill driving - emergency descents (up and downhill)
Driving on side slopes and slippery surfaces (Peake provides better areas to practice).
Features of Mitsubishi and other vehicles types which help in off road driving.
When and how to use vehicle off road driving features.
Vehicle recovery – if your vehicle becomes stuck, vehicle recovery will be covered.
Also note the following:
Fuel/ Food & Water: Bring every thing you need. (No food/ No fuel available close by)
Accommodation: Tents, Caravans, Camper Trailers etc.
Vehicles: 4WD, good mechanical condition, good tyres and spare.
Equipment: First aid kit. Fire extinguisher. Recovery equip. Air compressor.
- If you don't have the above equipment yet, you can still come.
Communications: UHF CB (required). - can loan you a hand held.
