Details: En route to the Madigans line we plan to travel through Wilmington, Marree, Eringa, Mt Dare, the French line, up the Colson Track(subject to permissions) Madigans Line, Birdsville, Birdsville track then back home. Following the route undertaken by Cecil Madigan across the Simpson Desert, we will travel west to east. A Deserts parks pass will be required. Note if we can't obtain permission to use the Colson track, we will travel from Mt Dare to Old Andado and on to the Madigans line.  Read More...

Details: Scenic drive through the Eastern Part of the Adelaide Hills, including a mixture of bitumen and dirt roads. We stop for lunch at the Gumeracha Hotel then continue through some more interesting roads back to Nairne. If it has been raining we may encounter mud and waterholes on a couple of roads requiring 4wd.  Read More...

Details: Enjoy some sand driving through the mallee. Starting with the Border Track in Ngarkat, we will travel South to North, then head for Murray Sunset National Park and explore tracks through there before heading south again through Wyperfeld and Big Desert national parks. Wyperfeld in particular has quite different terrain to the other parks and can be quite spectacular. We will be mostly bush camping in the National parks, but may stay in a caravan park at Rainbow in Victoria for a night.  Read More...

Details: We will drive a mixture of bitumen and dirt roads taking back roads where possible. Commencing in the Eastern Suburbs at the Tower Hotel. meet at 8.45 for a 9.00am departure. We will wind our way through the scenic Mount Lofty ranges and end up in Mount Pleasant for lunch. following which you make your own way home.  Read More...

Details: Travelling through Mildura, Pooncarie, Menindie lakes and along the Darling River to Bourke and Brewarrina, before heading back through Cobar and Mungo National park and Ouyen. We will be driving many dirt roads and other back roads on this trip. Off Road and Semi Off Road vans and campers should be ok, but as we will be quite remote at times, both Vehicle and Vans need to be in tip top condition before we start. Details: This drive will take us to Mannum via back roads through some very scenic hills and creek crossings along mostly dirt roads. The trip to Mannum from our meeting point at Littlehampton will take us approximately 3 hrs so you will gather this is not a direct route to Mannum. We will have lunch at Mannum and return a different (shorter) route, again through back roads returning us to the Freeway just near Littlehampton.  Read More...
